Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to feel better?
It really depends on the problem. If you have been suffering for a while then it’s likely to take longer to recover. It can also depend on the amount of pain you’re experiencing. The Chiropractor will recommend what they thinks is the best and apply the right course of action that suits your care.
What are the opening hours?
We are open Monday 12pm to 7pm, Wednesday 12pm – 7pm, Thursday 8:30am – 2:30pm, Friday 12pm – 7pm and Saturday 9am – 1pm. We are closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Do the treatments hurt?
It can do! and it’s not unusual to feel a little worse before you feel better. Even if you have been suffering for a long time or a short while. We will need to examine and treat those irritated tissues and that can lead to discomfort.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
Its understandable that people are busy. We have a cancellation policy. Let us know as soon as you know and we can try to as accommodating as possible.
What happens after the initial consultation?
You will be booked in for a follow up appointment and if it’s appropriate from your condition, you will be set exercises to do at home. We believe fully in tackling your problems face on and that involves a little work from your side too.
How much does it cost?
£70 for an initial consultation and £45 for a follow up appointment. More cost effective care plans are available depending on your individual requirements.
What’s that clicking noise?
We call that a ‘Cavitation’! This is when gas from the joint fluid is released during a spinal adjustment.
What should I expect after treatment?
It varies from patient to patient. Some people skip out of the appointments whilst others need time for the natural healing to kick in. In any case The chiropractor will do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
